Jason Glenney is a veteran coach with over 15 years of experience developing elite talent in the Niagara region. With a track record of guiding teams to the OHL Cup and helping players reach the next level of their hockey careers, Jason focuses on building a culture rooted in positivity, accountability, and character development.

Jason has a proven history of long-term player development, often following age groups through their critical development years
Niagara North Stars (2019–Present):
Coached the 2008 age group from U14 through to their U16 draft year.
Coached the 2010 age group from U15 to U16.
Served as Head Coach for the U18 program for 3 years.
Southern Tier Admirals (2010–2018):
Led the 2002 age group from Novice all the way through to Minor Midget.

Jason believes that while on-ice skills are vital, the development of a player's character is the ultimate indicator of success. He fosters an environment where players are held to high standards while being supported by a positive team atmosphere.
Proudest Coaching Moments
Elite Advancement: Taking the 2008 Niagara North Stars team to the OHL Cup and seeing 8 players selected in the OHL Priority Selection Draft.
Lasting Impact: Having former players reach out years later to share their life accomplishments and maintain the bond formed during their minor hockey years.
Family Connection: Having the opportunity to coach both of his sons at the Midget level.

Family: Jason has been married to his wife, Sarah, for 26 years. They have two sons, Trent (25) and Kyle (24), both of whom contribute to his coaching staff.
Interests: Outside of the arena, Jason enjoys golfing, trail walking, and spending time with friends around an open fire.
