Niagara North Alum Dylan Wells Plays in NHL Debut
Former Niagara North player, Dylan Wells, made his NHL debut today with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Dylan was drafted from our Minor Midget program in 2014 to the Peterborough Petes and to the Edmonton Oilers in the 5th round of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Read the full game recap here:

Dylan Wells made 12 saves for the Blackhawks (5-5-2) in his NHL debut. He entered the game after Arvid Soderblom left due to injury after making 21 saves through two periods.

"That's been a goal of mine since I was a kid, so I'm really happy," Wells said. "At the end of the day, my job is to stop the puck, it doesn't matter what league that's in, whether that's here or in the AHL. When I got told I was going in, it was just, 'Keep the mindset simple, stop the puck.'"
