Nate Day and Jordan Schanbacher Drafted to OHL
Submitted By Niagara North on Sat 06 05, 21
Nate Day was the second goalie taken in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection at number 57 by the Flint Firebirds and Jordan Schanbacher, defenceman and Captain of the 2005s was selected in the 11th round by the Barrie Colts.

Both are longtime Niagara North players and have been cornerstones of the 2005 team that were OMHA Champions in Atom.  We are very proud of both young men and they have a bright future in hockey ahead of them.  Congrats Nate and Jordan on your perseverance in this very difficult year.  All the best as you go forward and to all the Niagara North 2005's who worked so hard through this past year!
