What a Weekend!!
Submitted By pallan on Mon 11 12, 18
The 1st Annual Front Row Sports Classic is now in the books and what a fantastic weekend it was!  NN hosted 32 teams in 4 age groups from all over Ontario and NY.  Congratulations go to all our champions:

Minor Atom: Whitby Wildcats
Atom: Clarington Toros
Minor Peewee: Sun County Panthers
Peewee: Clarington Toros

Many thank yous are owed to many people for making our first tournament such a success.

I have to begin my thank yous to Kathy Ditto and Jim Craig, my main partners in this effort to bring this to life.  Could not have been such a success without the two of you.

Thanks to Mike Patterson, Randee Loucks, Ben Lockyer, Steph Winstanley for your assistance and support over the weekend with convening over at Garden City and with the vendors.

Thanks to the St Catharines Referee Association for the refs efforts in officiating for us and keeping things flowing on the ice.

Thank you to all our young timekeepers for the many hours in the cold arenas and keeping the iPads charged up!

Thank you to the City of St Catharines for your support in working with us to attain the ice and especially for the in arena staff for keeping the floods on time and for getting some after hours repairs done!

Thank you to our main sponsor, Front Row Sports!  The t shirts and championship hoodies were an instant hit!  The kids looked great and proud to wear those hoodies!!  Hopefully a tradition we can continue.

Thank you to all our coaches, players, families and teams that came from all over to be a part of what we hope will be a growing concern in the years to come.

Set your clocks to the same time next year as preparations for the 2nd Annual will begin asap!

Paul Allan
President, Niagara North
