Board Announcement: Development Director
Submitted By Paul Allan on Thursday, September 21, 2017
The Niagara North Board of Directors is happy to announce that at Tuesdays Board meeting, we created a new appointed position titled Development Director.  The Development Director will work alongside the VP of Hockey Operations and provide leadership in programming and development initiatives for the entire organization for both Players and Coaches.

We are excited to announce that Ben Lockyer has accepted the role.  Ben is a well respected local community leader, husband and father of four kids.  Ben is an OMHA Gold and Silver Medal winning coach with the 2005 age group.

Ben has been instrumental in development initiatives for the 2005 age group and with many other age groups in Niagara North over the past few years, in particular the younger ages which has been paying off dividends for the organization.  We look forward to working with Ben in taking on what we believe is a key role to keeping Niagara North on the shortlist of premier AAA organizations in the OMHA.  Niagara North is committed to continued Coach and Player development outside of regular team programming and we are thrilled that Ben will focus his energies on behalf of Niagara North.
