NN Development with Ice Dogs and Jr B Falcons
Submitted By pallan on Wed 09 24, 14
As part of Niagara North's commitment to the development of our players, Niagara North has organized two development days for our players.  The dates for the sessions are Sunday, Oct 5th and Sunday, Oct 26th.

Each team will receive one hour of on ice instruction, from either Dave Bell, Assistant Coach from the Niagara Ice Dogs, or from Frank Girhiny, Head Coach and General Manager of the St. Catharines Jr. B Falcons.   Dave will work specifically with our defencemen while, Frank will work with our forwards.  Goalies are expected to attend the on ice team sessions with Dave and Frank.  Later during the day, goaltenders will receive one hour of instruction from goalie coach Ryan Ludzik.  This will take place on the mini rink at Seymour-Hannah.

On top of these sessions, each team will have the opportunity to listen to Nutritionist, Denis Collier.  Denis' age specific sessions will include how to eat before games, after games, during tournaments and many other facts that will give our players the opportunity to realize their potential.  Denis' sessions will take place in the Meridian Room.

Your team's specific times are now posted on your team calendar on the NN site.

Niagara North continues to build on our growth and successes as we build toward a top OMHA AAA program.  We look forward to further enhancing your son's hockey growth and experience as a member of the Niagara North Stars.
