Congratulations to Niagara North Alumni Nate Day, who has been signed by the Edmonton Oilers to a three-year entry-level contract. Day (6'4", 205 lbs) was selected by Edmonton in the sixth round (184th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.  Nate played for Niagara North from U9 through to U16, and was drafted to the Flint Firebirds in round 3 (57th overall) of the 2021 OHL Draft.
