Future Stars - DEVELOPMENTAL (2016) (Niagara North Stars)

For players born in 2007/2008 interested in trying out for the Niagara North U18 AAA team, all information has been posted online and registration links are active. This form is available from your HOME CENTRE (not Niagara North). Please bring a hard copy of this form to the first tryout. 

Niagara North is proud to present the FUTURE STARS PROGRAM.  This program is a skill development program for Niagara North Zone players only, that are born in 2016. Please note, this is not a learn to skate/play program.  The expectation is that your son or daughter has has some previous hockey/game experience. This program consists of two unique player pathways: Intensive (4 days per week) and Developmental (2 days per week). 

Niagara North is proud to present the RISING STARS PROGRAM.  This is a skill development program for Niagara North Zone players only, born in 2017. The foundation focuses on a variety of skill development areas: skating, passing, shooting, positioning as well as goalie development, led by Niagara North appointed coaches and developers.

The U11 to U13 Camp is sold out, only two spots left in the U14 to U18 Camp. These camps are designed specifically for defensemen and will focus on the skills and techniques needed to play effectively.   Niagara North is hosting two camps. The first session  is for players who will be playing  U11 to U13  during the 2024/2025 season and  the second session is for U14 to U18 players. All ice times take place at Seymour Hannah Arena.   REGISTER HERE Payment of $360 can be made by etransfer to [email protected] upon completion of registration. 

The U12 Stars came away from the U12 AAA Championships with a silver medal, losing to the 3 time defending champion, Barrie Colts. The Stars went 2-1 in the round robin, defeating the Southern Tier Admirals and York-Simcoe Express. In an exciting semi-final, they captured a 4-3 overtime win against the Markham Waxers to send them to the Championships.  This is the 2nd year in a row, that our 2012s have captured the silver medal at the OMHAs. Congratulations on another great season. The whole Niagara North community couldn't be more proud of all of your efforts and success!
