Niagara North is proud to announce that
Seth Hollett will return with the 2011 age group as they head into their U16 season. Read on to learn more about Seth and his staff.
As a Brock University Sport Management graduate, I am working towards pursuing a career behind the bench at the junior and professional levels. I am looking forward to taking the 2011 Niagara North Stars into their U16 campaign and develop them for the next level both on and off the ice.
Coaching Experience:
I began my coaching career during my first year at Brock University with Niagara Falls Minor Hockey at the AA level for a total of 5 seasons with the 2002, 2003, 2009, and 2010 age groups. I also spent time with the OJHL's Niagara Falls Canucks as an assistant coach during the 2024-2025 campaign. I am now entering my second year as Head Coach of the Niagara North Stars 2011 age group heading into their U16 campaign.
Playing Experience:
Growing up in Niagara Falls I spent my minor hockey years as a part of the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association at the A, AA and AAA levels. In my U16 and U18 years I also spent time as an affiliate player with the GOJHL Niagara Falls Canucks.
As A Coach, I believe that:
All players deserve an opportunity to show what they can do. I believe in holding both myself and my team accountable and creating a positive environment for my players to come to the rink every day to get better and enjoy putting the work in day in and day out. I strongly believe in developing players in both their hockey abilities and as people.
Outside of Coaching:
Outside of coaching I continue to grow my knowledge of the game and explore other coaches philosophies from industry leaders in any way I can from attending conferences, reading books and connecting with coaches at the next level.
Coaching Staff/Developers:
My staff will be returning for the U16 campaign, Forward Coach: Dom Pascente (1 year PJHL junior career), Defence and Special Teams Coach: Reid Lowe (5 year PJHL junior career), Defence Coach: Giacomo Cotrufo (6 Year PJHL/GOJHL junior career), and Goalie Coach: Noah Fortuna (6 year GOJHL junior career).
I am also proud to announce that Riley Sheahan, (12 year NHL career) will be returning as our development and part-time video coach for the 2026-2027 season. As well as Stacy Gough, (Off-Ice trainer to NHL, AHL, OHL players and top U16 prospects), will be returning to run our off-ice development program.
