Updates on league changes since last season include a new website for SCTA and fewer league games as a result of the departure of Niagara Rivermen.

There have been some changes in SCTA for the 2014-2015 season.

You may have noticed that all teams in SCTA are using the same website platform.  This will allow fast and accurate scheduling changes to be made, that will automatically update on websites of teams impacted.  In addition, SCTA has created their own website (SCTA website  http://sctahockey.com/) for league standings, etc.  The SCTA website is accessible via "League Standings" in the menu on the left hand side.

With the departure of Niagara Rivermen from the league at the end of the 2013-2014 season, SCTA has moved to 10 teams.  As a result, teams will play a 36 game schedule (rather than the 40 games in previous years).  In addition, the playoff format has changed for the final 4 teams (those who traditionally moved on to play in the Sunday cross-over games).  Those four teams will now play a 6 point series (A1 vs B2; A2 vs B1), to determine which two teams will advance to OMHA Championship Weekend.

The SCTA Qualifying Tournament date & location has been posted on the website - check "Schedule & Results" for details.
